1618 Es un recubrimiento epóxico extremadamente transparente y de alto brillo para sellar o embellecer la mayoría de las superficies. Es impermeable y protege contra la exposición a la intemperie, la orina animal y la mayoría de los limpiadores y disolventes. El 1618 tiene una excelente resistencia al choque térmico y al impacto, y presenta una adhesión superior a la mayoría de las superficies, como hormigón, metal, madera y fibra de vidrio.

POLYBAC #1618 is a fast-curing, epoxy resin specially formulated for use as a seamless floor Top-Coat. POLYBAC #1618 is an easy to mix 2 to 1 by volume ratio
and it’s low viscosity allows for easy to spread thin-coat applications. POLYBAC #1618 is ideal for small areas or areas of critical service that demand a prompt return to service. POLYBAC #1618 is resistant to most chemicals and solvents. POLYBAC #1618 is non-blushing and the resin system of choice for cool/humid floors.

APPLICATION

1) POLYBAC #1618 can be applied by squeegee, brush, roller or spraying.
2) Clean surface by shotblasting or sanding to provide clean and open surface.
3) Thoroughly mix measured amounts of 2 parts of Part-A Resin with 1 part of Part-B Hardener by volume until streak free. Scrape side and bottom of
pail frequently during mixing to ensure a good mix. Mix only enough that can be applied in 15 minutes.
4) Spread mixed epoxy with squeegee and back roll with a 3’8” nap roller until spread evenly onto the surface. Avoid puddles or “dry spots” for best
results.
5) Immediately broadcast quartz aggregate “to rejection” into wet epoxy.
