This product is single component water based, acrylic, high performance Scumble Glaze. It is specially formulated to meet the conditions and properties required for exterior masonry wall and floor coating. It is a high performance coating that will protect cementitious and other non-resilient substrates from sun rays, humidity wind driven rain and has excellent adhesion including concrete and stucco surfaces.

SURFACE PREPARATION

All surfaces to be coated must be free of dirt, oils, and other contaminants that may prevent proper adhesion. For new concrete, wait 28 days to cure and apply a high quality acrylic primer before application of Scumble Glaze.

Pretreat all cracks with non-silicon based high quality acrylic caulking.

Use a good quality detergent and dilute with 1 liter (1/4 gallon) of water and mix
thoroughly. Wash entire surface with detergent solution using a scrubbing brush. Let the soap solution stand for 5 minutes prior to rinsing. Rinse the entire surface twice with clean water, if any dust or powder remains continue rinsing. Allow the surface to dry completely.

APPLICATION

Scumble glaze can be applied by brush, roll or spray.

NOTE: Film formation of Scumble Glaze depends on temperature and humidity. minimum film formation temperature is 10°C (50°F) and maximum relative humidity is 60%. Lower temperature and higher humidity results in longer curing time.
