• Stir thoroughly immediately before use. Avoid a mechanical shaker, which can introduce air and cause foam.
• Working time is dependent on product mixture, technique and substrate.
• Designed to be intermixed with premium interior acrylic/latex paint (in any amount) or tint with zero-VOC waterborne dispersion colorants. Use a ratio of 4:1 glaze to interior paint. Using more glaze will increase translucency, less glaze will result in a more opaque effect. For tinting with dispersions use up to a 5:1 glaze to dispersion ratio. Start with a 3% addition of colorant and test.
• May be mixed in any proportion with Golden Paintworks Slow Dry Fluid Acrylics to adjust the pigment load and the overall transparency of the mixture.
• Do not mix with oil paint.
• Brush or cloth apply. May also be applied with other decorative tools, as well as spray or roller applied.
• Apply at room and surface temperatures between 50° F & 90° F.
• Work in an area small enough to complete a decorative technique before the glaze begins to set up. Work quickly from section to section to prevent lap marks.
• On large surfaces work in irregular shapes to disguise laps or panel to panel variations.
• Brushing too hard can cause the glaze to cloud or foam, avoid overworking.
• May be thinned with water if needed. Thinning more than 50% may compromise working time, stability and adhesion.
• Apply only to clean, dry, painted or primed surfaces.
• Allow a minimum of 12 hours drying time between coats.
• Allow up to four weeks for a full water-resistant cure.
• Seal with Golden Paintworks Clear Topcoats for maximum durability.
• Test your technique on a practice board before applying to walls.
• For interior use only.
