Product Specification

When the weather or application conditions need to be managed, the Colorfast EX product line includes the following additives for easy manipulation of working time or cure rate: Accelerator, Brush & Roll Additive, and Reducer for clean up and spray applications.

Colorfast EX Accelerator is an organic tin catalyst which helps the speed of dry of Modern Masters' Colorfast acrylic/polyurethane two-component topcoats. When used as directed, it can reduce the tape time of Colorfast EX ZERO VOC topcoats from 8-12 hours down to 3-4.

MIX RATIO

Typically, 1-2 ounces / mixed gallon range for the Colorfast EX ZERO VOC is most effective. It is not recommended to add over 3 ounces per mixed gallon. Sagging and running may occur.

55°F-62°F = 2.5oz to 3oz

63°F -70°F = 2oz

71°F -78°F = 1.5oz

79°F -86°F = 1oz

87°F -94°F = 0.5oz

95+°F = add only as needed
