Ronan - Vinyl Cote

All surfaces must be clean, dry and free from loose or peeling paint, grease, oil, dirt, rust, mill scale and other contaminants. Refer to technical data sheet for more information on surface preparation. Pretreat vinyl surfaces by wiping with isopropyl alcohol, then allow to fully dry before applying Vinyl Cote. Note: Because there are many different types of vinyl, it is always recommended that Vinyl Cote be tested for compatibility before using. To test, apply Vinyl Cote to a small section, then let dry fully (8 hours). Apply a piece of tape to the coated area, then remove. Coating should not lift with tape.

Stir contents thoroughly. Do not thin under normal conditions. Use at full strength for maximum efficiency. Do not apply in heavy wet coats. Do not allow wet film to puddle. for best results, apply two (2) to three (3) thin coats. Allow each coat to dry thoroughly before applying the next.

Brush: With any good quality synthetic bristle brush.

Roll: A short nap industrial roller will give best results. Do not use a foam roller.

Spray: This product can be spray applied with equipment intended for waterborne finishes. Refer to spray equipment manufacturer's instructions.

Do not apply under 60°F or above 95°F, or if humidity is higher than 90%. For more information on application methods, refer to technical data sheet.

Tightly close all containers after use. Remove all splatters/clean brushes and rollers immediately with soap and warm water.

@ 70°F; 50% Relative Humidity: Dries to touch - 45 minutes to 1 hour; to handle - 2 1/2 hours; to recoat - 2 1/2 hours. Full cure - 8 hours. Will take longer to dry under colder or more humid conditions.
