Product Specification

Flame Guard Liquid is a revolutionary fire retardant additive that mixes with most acrylic latex coatings to create a flame retardant paint film on substrates. Flame Guard Liquid is designed to slow the flame spread on a treated surface when added to the coating.

Because it is impossible to test Flame Guard Liquid on every substate or in every coating, it is recommended that the end user test before using and for suitability of proposed use.

Compatibility of Flame Guard Liquid with most SBR, PVA, vinyl-acrylic, and acrylic lattices is excellent. Before use, compatibility should be verified. Flame Guard Liquid can be used as a paint additive.   Flame Guard Liquid has not been tested with spray foam.

WHERE TO USE:  Schools, hospitals, nursing homes, amusement parks, private dwellings, office buildings, day care facilities, or wherever you wish to have added extra protection and codes are specified.
