Meoded - Stucco Lamundo

Stucco Lamundo™ can be tinted to any color using Universal tints or machine colorants. Meoded’s natural concentrated “VOC free” pigments are recommended for dark colors.

Stucco Lamundo™ yields a high coverage rate due to its thin layers. The coverage of Stucco Lamundo™ is in regards to its 3 layer application.
One Quart (1.0 kg (2.2 lbs)) roughly 20 sq ft
One Gallon (5.0 kg (11lbs)) roughly 100 sq ft
One Bucket (20 kg (44 lbs)) roughly 400 sq ft

New Surface: Prime substrates with PVA acrylic primer and let it dry fully. Apply one coat of Meoded Quartz Primer™, allowing it at least 3-5 hours to dry.

Existing Surface: Any surface with sheen should be sanded lightly, cleaned and dust free. Then prime the surface with multipurpose primer and let it dry fully. Next, apply one coat of Meoded Quartz Primer™, allowing it to dry for at least 3-5 hours. Preparation of flat surfaces requires only the application of Meoded Quartz Primer™.

First Coat: The first coat of Stucco Lamundo™ should be applied in a thin and even manner, covering the entire wall. Allow at least 12 hours for the first coat to dry.

Second Coat: If required to smooth, lightly sand the first coat with 180-320 grit sandpaper before proceeding. The second coat should be applied and spread
tightly in overlapping patch patterns. Allow the second coat to dry for at least 5-7 hours.

Third Coat & Burnishing: Apply the finish coat in the same manner as the
second coat. Yet, when the material is still moist, start pressing, smoothing and gradually burnish the material in 10-15 sq. ft. sections. The more you burnish the shinier and smoother the surface will become.

After a minimum of 48 hours of dry time, it is recommended to apply a layer of Meoded Hydrowax™ to protect your finish from moisture and dirt. Hydrowax™ also enhances sheen and gloss. Use a clean spatula or trowel to apply a thin layer of wax. Work the wax on the surface and remove any excess. Buffing the surface
produces a polished effect.

If no extra shine is desired on the finish, apply two to three coats of an Meoded’s penetrating sealer to protect the product from moisture and dirt.

Remove temporary protection, such as masking tape and covers. Clean up spills and splatters using methods that will not damage the surfaces.
